Opening Ceremony x Everlane Collaboration

For one of Everlane's first forays into a brick-and-mortar space, the brand partnered with another like-minded company that valued storytelling and had a unique point of view–Opening Ceremony. In the fall of 2016, the two brands came together to launch a collection of limited-edition cashmere, debuted at each of the Opening Ceremony stores in New York and Los Angeles. To transport fans into the world of Everlane within the OC stores, a larger-than-life installation was designed by the architecture firm Post-Office. It contained open cylinders of maple wood with bulbous paper lanterns dangling down, designed by Isamu Noguchi.

To kick off the collaboration, a launch party was hosted in Opening Ceremony's store in New York.

"I worked with Ling Luke on a special collaboration between Everlane, Opening Ceremony, and POST-OFFICE. Working with Ling was a breeze and thoroughly enjoyable. Her advanced creative and technical knowledge, as well as her personality, made the project go without a hitch, and on budget. I wish all jobs were like this.”
